Our Glock Drones will work with Gen 3 and 4 pistols. The only external difference is the magazine release and grip texture.
DIY Molding Drones are made for the professional and hobbyist alike. These castings are molded from actual pistols/mags/lights out of a high-temp, durable material that has a shrink rate of .001 inches per inch. This makes for unparalleled accuracy in our molding drones.
Our Original Molding Drones are excellent for professional, high volume molding operations, hobbyists looking to make basic holsters and everyone in between. These drones are extremely tough and handle the rigors of vacuum and pressure molding well. The high density material is virtually unaffected by heat and pressure and will allow for nearly uninterrupted cycle times.
All catch points have been filled and control and sight channels are built in. These drones are workable, so if you want to make custom alterations it is no problem. Feel free to sand, cut or glue alterations as you see fit. Our goal is to make it easier when you Do It Yourself!
Note: If you mold or plan to make products with lights or lasers attached to the rail or trigger guard you should consider our "Rail Work" Drones.

I cannot believe how much easier this mold (G34/TLR-1) made my life.... well, i can but now i am kicking myself because i didnt buy this, oh i dont know... 4 years ago!
I have always been a huge supporter of the DIY drones and this one is no different than all the other DIY drones that I have, phenomenal. All you need to do is add your light sticks and other proprietary blocking, 2 layers of tape (IME) and you are golden.
If you are on the fence about getting a dedicated light bearing mold, just buy it. You will thank yourself later.
P.S. In response to the other review pertaining to the loaded chamber indicator, The indicator is a little short so if you are making holsters with taller front shells then it might be an issue. I always grind the indicator blocking off to add my own anyway so I failed to notice this until i read that other review.

I have one of these for a G23 w/ light. Mold worked well and with an unloaded gun I adjusted my retention. When put it on for work, I noticed the loaded chamber indicator gets hung up when the gun is loaded. I checked out my drone and there is no build up in that area of the drone. I will have to add it. I looked at my drone for a G23 with no light and it has a block of material there, but is from a different company.
It would be nice to see a build up there. I like to leave my holsters high, but if you don't you can always just trim it down below the indicator.
