Now you can add the finest, strongest belt loops available to your project or products. These loops come in 1.5” and 1.75" sizes. Hole spacing is 1 11/16" center to center and matches our "raven" drill guides perfectly. You can also order them without holes and drill or punch your own to match your project. The “nose” of the loops can be trimmed off as well if you desire.
If you are currently using Kydex for your belt loops, you will really appreciate these loops. Not only will they save you time and money over making your own belt loops they are safer and functionally superior to Kydex in every way. Kydex belt loops, even .125, will eventually break. While the impact resistance of Kydex is excellent, it is subtle flexing over time that will break a Kydex belt loop. Just like bending a paper clip a little bit back and forth will eventually cause a failure, so too with Kydex loops. These polymer loops are also slightly more flexible than Kydex which allows them to bend and move with your body and not translate that force into the Kydex shell thus increasing the life of the product as well. At the price we’re able to offer these loops; there is no reason to continue using Kydex for belt loops.

These are well made and durable but the openings are a little wide. I don't mean wide from side to side, there they're thin and perfect. I mean there is a little too much room in the loop itself. I used them to build OWB double mag carriers and if it's located on the curve of your hip, the belt holds it tight. If it's not on that curve, they tilt and wobble and move. I'd like to see slimmer loops. I used them to mark hole spacing on the IWB over hooks and THOSE work perfectly. As an added bonus they clip on and off quick but stay put even during USPSA matches. Those are still my favorite IWB and now OWB belt loops/clips. Thanks DIY for the free shipping! The quality and shipping is why I keep buying!
I love how they alow you to lower the holster on the belt compaired to some of the other options. My customers love them, but I personally would like to see an option for a slimmer opening. Or even a tapered opening like the ravens you sell. Just something to help them stay snug up against the body. *DIY reply* See our angled low profile closed loops here: http://www.shopdiyholster.com/angled-belt-loops-low-profile-no-holes-black/
I offer a warranty on all my holsters. I used to make from kydex strips. I am pretty sure I have replaced all of my old belt loops with these and have yet to have a warranty claim. Holes have been perfect every time.
The loops are fine, the holes are drilled 1 3/4" center to center which doesn't work my 1/2" , 3/4", or 1" drill guides. My fault for not searching harder for the description tab. Q. Why would anyone want to duplicate RCS's hole spacing anyway? Reply from DIY Holster: The "Raven" spacing was actually our most requested hole pattern. That's why our loops with holes replicate that.
I'm not a huge fan if these. They are exactly as described and seem to work well. They are a little bulky for my likings but my customers seem to love them.
