Now you can add the finest, strongest belt loops available to your project or products.  These loops come in 1.5”, 1.75" sizes.  These loops come without holes and you can punch or drill holes in them to match your project.  The angled construction of these loops will help conform to the belt line, especially for "pancake" style projects.  The slim, lower profile of these loops are perfect for smaller/slimmer/non-50% split projects and will help pull the item closer to the belt line to aid in concealment and stability on the belt.  Low profile loops are also great to mix and match on lead/trail seams with our standard Angled Loops to maximize concealment - for example, use a standard size loop on the lead seam of a pancake holster to help clear the slide, but use a low profile on the trail to clear the trigger guard and pull the grip in as tight as possible.  DIY Low Profile Angled Loops give you one more tool to make your products and projects the best they can be!

See product photos for comparisons between the standard angled belt loops and low profile angled loops.  The standard angled loops and our original closed loops have a minimal internal height of 1/2".  The low profile loops have a minimum internal height of 3/8".

If you are currently using Kydex for your belt loops, you will really appreciate these loops.  Not only will they save you time and money over making your own belt loops they are safer and functionally superior to Kydex in every way.  Kydex belt loops, even .125, will eventually break.  While the impact resistance of Kydex is excellent, it is subtle flexing over time that will break a Kydex belt loop.  Just like bending a paper clip a little bit back and forth will eventually cause a failure, so too with Kydex loops.  These polymer loops are also slightly more flexible than Kydex which allows them to bend and move with your body and not translate that force into the Kydex shell thus increasing the life of the product as well.  At the price we’re able to offer these loops; there is no reason to continue using Kydex for belt loops.

    Belt loops

These low profile belt loops are bar none the most comfortable on the market. My LE customers ask for these in the 1.75” on their off duty holsters because the fit their tactical belts and keep the holster tucked in close and tight. Great product.

    As Deacribed

Pretty much exactly as advertised. Great quality and condition, the 4 I bought have worked well and haven't given me issue through the process of crafting my mag carriers. Not too much thinner than the standard belt loops when comparing side by side, but perhaps once I carry with them it'll be more noticeable in that aspect. I'll buy again for future carriers and holsters for sure though. If anything "low profile" is a selling point for those of us who sell a product.

Really like these loops even on larger framed gun holsters the lower profile really helps to create less movement and keep the holster tighter to the body.

    Rephrase The Product

    Material: awesome
    Shipping: awesome
    Functionality: awesome
    Price: awesome
Only problem: item is listed as, "angled belt loops..."
This statement suggest that I was ordering belt LOOPS and not one, angled belt loop.
Easy confusion, I'm not upset, I wound up making a belt loop out of necessity, but this won't stop me from continuing purchasing from DIY.

helps holster hug the body closer than other loops

The loops really help in snuggling the holster up closer to the body than other loops I've used.
