Hardware is hardware, right? You be the judge. Our hardware is similar to everything else out there. While we’d love to say it is all U.S. made, that is sadly not the case as common hardware is just not made domestically except for very special applications. So, our oval head 8-32 screws are probably made on the same equipment in the same overseas factory as the next guy’s. But we do take one extra step with our hardware that sets it apart from the competition. Unlike most hardware distributors, we do not sell black oxide coated hardware. While black oxide is a decent finish, there is a better option. We have all of our hardware Melonited by a U.S. metal treatment company. MELONITE is a thermochemical treatment for improving surface properties of metal parts. In addition to generating a deep black color that is a part of the surface of the metal, it also hardens the surface of the part to approximately 70 on the Rockwell scale. This process offers unparalleled abrasion and rust resistance.
We take this step not just to be different, but to offer you the finest hardware available for your project or product. And we keep our prices at or below what you can buy black oxide hardware for. So, is all hardware created equal? Try DIY hardware and see the difference for yourself.

Eliminates the need for thin finish washers and makes adjustable retention stronger.

These are the best quality screws I've used. The finish is tough to beat and the threads are always perfect. I prefer the truss head over all the other options. Also DIY ships quick. Definitely recommend.

Just recently got into making holster as a hobby for friends. Every time I would make a holster they would always tell me, "Well!!!, Why didn't you use this?" Or "Why can't you make it look like this?" To tell you the truth, I really didn't know where to go to buy the professional things. And I can tell you my friends didn't either!! Ha! So instead of just using good old bolts and nuts from the hardware stores I found DIY holsters. They have everything I need and my hobby well kinda turned into a fun money maker!! I'm busy all the time and enjoying making alittle bit of cash on the side from my hobby.
All prices are in USD.
